Take booking payments with Stripe

The principle

To take deposits or booking payments, ucallix relies on Stripe. The assistant generates a secure payment link, sent to your client by text message. The payment is made on a page hosted by Stripe.

Activate payments

From the settings, start the setup of your Stripe account. You are redirected to a form hosted by Stripe that collects the required information (identity, company, bank details). Once validated, your account can receive payments.

You are the merchant of record

The collection is made directly on your Stripe account. You are the merchant of record for the payments: refunds, unpaid item handling and disputes are your responsibility, and you bear the Stripe processing fees. ucallix never comes into possession of the funds.

The payment link expires

A payment link stays valid for twenty four hours. After that, it becomes unusable and the associated booking is not guaranteed. You then decide whether to follow up with your client or cancel.
